Teacher thank you note sheet

Four notes to a sheet, with prompts so children have something to start from. Teachers keep these long after the gifts have gone.

In the print dialogue, choose "Save as PDF" as the destination to keep a copy.

How to use it

  • Print one sheet per child and cut along the lines into four notes.
  • Let the child write it themselves, spelling and all - that is the part that gets kept.
  • Remember the teaching assistant, the office and the caretaker.

Lines for a parent to add

  • Thank you for a brilliant year - she has grown in confidence enormously.
  • Thank you for your patience with him. It has made a real difference.
  • Thank you for noticing what she needed before we did.
  • We have loved hearing about your class every evening.

For a teacher leaving or retiring

  • Thank you for everything you have given this school.
  • Enjoy every minute of it - you have earned it several times over.
  • The school will not be the same without you.
